Ski and boat      

The 70 year-old Auno is a traditionally rigged sailing vessel, with cabins and lounges of a good standard. The vessel, along with good food and the best of Norwegian nature, forms the framework for our “Ski and Boat” tours. The product has been developed in cooperation with professional ski guides and almost a thousand guests during the last seventeen years. Our co-operating partner in Switzerland is dipl. bergfürer Andreas Fux from Zermatt.

During the week-long tour, the vessel has four or five ports of call. One of them is Vågsbukta, a genuine natural harbour. We anchor along the rocky shore, protected by the branches from the pine forest that hang over the deck. When we arrive at Åndalsnes, the alpine town in Romsdal, there will be opportunities for shopping and to dine at local restaurants.

Innumerable mountain peaks, some as high as 2 000 metres, surround the fjord landscape and invite you to incredible ski experiences. On the many mountain and forest roads, it is easy to reach the snowline by car, even late in the season. And of course, we will enjoy sailing or fishing on our way to our next port of call…
